Volunteers are required to assist at the Army Museum South Queensland. Based at Victoria Barracks on Petrie Terrace, volunteer roles depend on individual interests and capabilities.
Tour Guides are required on Wednesdays to assist visitors with information and history of the Barracks, which date back to 1864. Training is given.
Applicants should be able to speak clearly and with confidence.
Other roles include carpentry and other trade skills, conservation and cataloguing.
A background of Australian Military procedures is an advantage but not essential. All ages welcome.
