President’s Report & Delegates Report:

Welfare Officer’s Report:

Grants Officer Report:
Memorial at Barcrest has significance and is in need of restoration, this project is supported by the board. It requires $5296. There is a Pledge of $1,000 from SCC.
Kitchen at standstill at the moment.

General Business:
- Amendment to AGM – It is noted that Dusty’s appointment as the Patron is continued
- Updates from the Board meeting – Review of the minutes.
- Anzac Day service review.
- We attended the 3 schools for their service. North Arm, Yandina and Eumundi State Schools.
- Sincere thanks to Dusty for stepping up to be the Guest speaker at short notice. Good feedback received from the event. Crowd numbers appeared to be increased. Over 200 hits to the Website received in the 24hrs before the service. Over 500 photos taken and some video taken of the event. It is requested that the Piper needs to be positioned away from the MC for the reading of the fallen.
- Upcoming activities.
- Bomber Command Memorial Service at Amberley 5th June – Transport is through District. Peter Hall, Dusty Miller, David Buckley would like to attend.
- Return Of The Catalina is showing 25 May at the Maroochydore RSL Events Centre.
- Peter Hall asked for access to videos and other information for those who don’t have access to the internet. Secretary will make all available for Peter’s to share as required.
- Big event Long Tan day, Maroochydore and Tewantin.
- Requests for newsletters. Articles needed. Peter Hall to assist with the newsletter. Including distribution.
- Request for support for the Military cadets. Trevor McGaw was asked to formalise a request and submit to the Board.
- Ad’s shared for Heart Moves (Physiotherapist delivering classes in the hall), 50th Anniversary Tour (Trevor McGaw).
- It was requested that the Sponsorship of memorials in rural towns be presented at the delegates meeting. Information to be supplied to the President by Richard Slypen.
The next General Meeting will be held on Sunday June 5th 2016 commencing at 1100hrs.
There being no further business the meeting closed at [1225] by the President.
