To acknowledge the 60,000 men and women who served in the Australian Defence Force during the Vietnam War Conflict from 1965 to 1975, the Army Museum of South Queensland, situated in Victoria Barracks on Petrie Tce, will proudly host an exhibition from February to June 2017.
Brisbane’s Victoria Barracks were an important administrative centre for much of the jungle training conducted in Queensland, and served as the communications hub during the war. A visit to the exhibition will include a tour of Victoria Barracks and Devonshire Tea in the historic Officers’ Mess.
Bookings are essential. Tours are conducted on wednesday mornings. Other days only by arrangement. Please phone 0412 868 224, or email [email protected] or [email protected].
