Yandina Anzac Day March
We are proud to bring the Anzac Day March to Yandina in 2016.
Preparations are well underway to make this another great Anzac Day march in Yandina. The number seems to be growing every year which is heartwarming to see this great Australian tradition that honours the Anzacs and the Anzac sprit go from strength to strength.
It is wonderful to see the newer generations march alongside the current and ex-defence personnel proudly wearing the medals earned by their family members.
RSL Centenary
This is the 100th year anniversary of the RSL, so it is great to be able to invite the local community to celebrate Anzac Day together in our centenary year.
The Yandina main street will be cordoned off to allow for the street march from the corner of Farrell and Stevens Street, down Stevens street to The Yandina Cenotaph.

The March will commence at 1045. Please arrive in plenty of time to get yourself into position whether you are participating in the march or spectating the event.
We are thrilled that the The Buderim Concert Band will be supporting the march and the ceremony this year.
The Ceremony
The ceremony will take place on the grassed area alongside the Cenotaph at 1100.
There will be limited seating available for our more senior citizens and special needs visitors. If you are attending and require seating or have any special requirements please let us know before the day if possible.
The ceremony will conclude at approximately 1130.
After the Ceremony
The Yandina Hotel, directly opposite the Cenotaph will host the regular two-up games.
The Yandina-Eumundi RSL will offer an affordable lunch for members and visitors. The lunch will be arranged by our Citizens auxiliary, numbers may be limited (depending on demand) if you would like to arrange lunch at the RSL advance bookings are preferred.
