We pleased to invite you to this year’s Yandina ANZAC Day Service, including our traditional Commemorative Service and March.
Commemorative Service
We’ve have been working in to continue our ANZAC Day ceremony at the Yandina Cenotaph in the center of town. This years event has been put together by a few committed members and community volunteers.
This will be a great day and one that our members and attendees will be proud to be paying respects on. It is wonderful to see young and old joining in and enjoying the ceremony.
Musical Accompaniment
The vocals. will be brought to us by the fabulous Chris Mills, who will be leading us in song our national anthems together as a community.
We will also be joined by Sunshine Coast Caledonian Pipes and Drums, who are generously volunteering their time to our service to make the March more memorable, as well as provide the lament. Victor Flatt has volunteered his bugle to our ceremony which is always so special for us.
Local Youth contributions
Our local youth from Yandina and North Arm State School will be sharing their Anzac Day tributes. Whilst the cadets from 128 ACU will support the ceremony.

Songs
God Defend New Zealand
E Ihowa Atua,
O nga iwi matou ra
Ata whakarangona;
Me aroha noa
Kia hua ko te pai;
Kia tau to atawhai;
Manaakitia mai
Aotearoa
God of Nations at Thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific’s triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.
Advance Australia Fair
Australians all let us rejoice,
For we are one and free
We’ve golden soil and wealth for toil
Our home is girt by sea
Our land abounds in nature’s gifts
Of beauty rich and rare
In history’s page, let every stage
Advance Australia Fair.
In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia Fair.
Beneath our radiant Southern Cross
We’ll toil with hearts and hands
To make this Commonwealth of ours
Renowned of all the lands
For those who’ve come across the seas
We’ve boundless plains to share
With courage let us all combine
To Advance Australia Fair.
In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia Fair.
